When you are moving homes, one of the struggles are actually getting your items into boxes and then reeling it out to your U-Haul Truck. Here's an easy way to make moving simple. The less you have, the less you have to pack.
Decluttering your home is also decluttering your life.
I've read an amazing book that correlates to how you can become efficient in your living quarters lifestyle: "The Life Changing Magic of Tidying" By Marie Condo.
Here is the key take away:
Throw away anything you do not use or have not used in a very long time and keep what you really need.
Categorize your items. Keep items that mean a lot to you, like a gift from your best friend. Throw away things that are useless and don't have a place for it. How do you know? Ask yourself "When was the last time I used this" and if it was more than a year, most likely, it's an items that should be considered in the trash bin. Of course keep tax documents, but essentially, the main idea is to throw everything away. The less you have the less you clutter.
